Facebook director of mobile engineering Cory Ondrejka is leaving the company to create his own startup, he announced in a Facebook post Tuesday.
Facebook director of mobile engineering Cory Ondrejka is leaving the company to create his own startup, he announced in a Facebook post Tuesday.
Ondrejka joined Facebook in November 2010 from EMI Group, where he served as director of digital strategy, Prior to that, he was the chief technology officer at Linden Lab, the company that created Second Life.
He wrote in his farewell post:
Dec. 22 will be my last day at Facebook. From high-performance JavaScript through mobile to virtual reality, I could never have predicted a journey quite like this one.
