Copia Introduces $99 eReader

eReaders just keep getting cheaper. Amazon came out with a $139 Kindle yesterday. Now Copia‘s response is to tout its new $99 eReader. The Ocean eReader has a 5″ color screen and is set to hit the market this fall.

Copia first showed off its eReaders back at CES in January, but back then, the prototype included an eInk non-color screen.

Tony Antolino, senior vice president of DMC Worldwide, the company that runs Copia, told The Wall Street Journal that the iPad “disrupted pricing strategy for everyone in the e-reader market.”
