Cool. Duh. Cute. Crap. The Script from BCM

Earlier this week, WaPo's Amy Argetsinger wrote up a pretty funny piece about the script from Blonde Charity Mafia. It seems WaPo's goddess of gossip got her hands on the production notes from a few episodes of the now CW production. Well, guess what? We have it too. Below are a few highlights (and I'm not talking about the kind Erwin Gomez gives out). NATALIE: Your dad will kill you if you don't go to this and schmooze with the new Congresspeople... SOPHIE: I know. NATALIE: You just have to play it cool and act like nothing's wrong...if you don't appear to believe the rumors, no one else will either. I'm serious - it totally works. Politicians do it all the time. Sophie takes in the advice and takes a deep breath. SEE THE NOTES FROM TWO EPISODES AFTER THE JUMP! EPISODE 102, SCENE 1: SOPHIE, TALlA, NATALlE- TALIA WARNS SOPHIE TO STAY AWAY FROM JOHN PYNE LOCATION: INTERMIX Sophie, Natalie and Talia are trying on clothes. Sophie comes out of the dressing room with a cute short dress on and says she wishes she could wear stuff like this on the Hill. It's so conservative there. Natalie says who cares about the dress tell us about last night. Sophie says she had fun with John last night. Talia can't believe that Sophie would hook up with him because he's with Katherine. Sophie says she doesn't feel bad ot all. She says someone on LNS said it was one of Katherine's bitches that blocked her and Natalie from the Welcoming Party. Talia is surprised. Natalie says she had read that too. Sophie declares that payback is a bitch. EPISODE 102, SCENE 9: ADAM APOLOGIZES FOR GIVING KRISTA A HARD TIME ABOUT THE BLIND DATE. KRISTA ASKS ADAM TO BE A BACHELOR LOCATION: CAFE EUROPE Krista and Adam order coffees at the counter cafe. As they Wait for their drinks. Adam asks about Katherine. Adam has never understood what she does? How is throwing parties a job? Krista explains that it is not throwing parties. Katherine is an amazing fundraiser for her charity and a number of other worthy causes. Krista explains that Katherine doesn't really have to work, but she enjoys helping other people. Krista goes on to say that Katherine's illness is the driving force to why Katherine feels she need to help other people. Adam had no idea. Adam apologizes for giving Krista a hard time about her blind date last night. Krista explains that he was right... it was a bad idea. Adam asks why, and Krista dismisses it. Krista asks Adam for a favor, she needs him to be part of the bachelor auction that she and Katherine are throwing. Krista explains a couple guys dropped out and she needs some help. Adam is not into the idea. Krista puts on a big smile and asks him to do it for her. Adam explains that he really doesn't want to, suppose nobody bids on him. Krista insists someone will. She really needs his help on this. She wants him to participate for her. Adam agrees, but only for Krista, he wouldn't do it for anyone else. EPISODE 101, SCENE 3: SOPHIE, CONNIE & NATALIE DISCUSS SOPHIE AND JOHN RUMOR LOCATION: Interior Dean & Deluca Sophie and Natalie order little pastires. SOPHIE: This is such crap - it was one kiss - nothing more, I swear. NATALIE listens sympathetically SOPHIE: I'm so EFF'D. Do you think everyone's read this? NATALIE: Uh...do you want the truth or do you want me to lie to you... SOPHIE: I'm so embarrassed...I can't show my face... NATALIE: Uh - that's not going to be an easy task for a lobbyist. SOPHIE: Natalie, stop it, I'm serious. Natalie winces...knowing that Sophie's scandal is definitely already the talk of the town. Phone rings - It's SOPHIE's dad - He grills her for leaving work in the middle of the day after she showed up 2 hours late. Sophie apologizes and then promises to be in early the next day. She hangs up. SOPHIE: He's so ridiculous...are you kidding me? Get off my back. I have bigger problems than my dumb job right now. EPISODE 102, SCENE 10: KATHERINE 8. JOHN SHOP AT DEAN & DELUCA -MELANI AND NICOLE RUN INTO THEM, MELANI THANKS KATHERINE FOR INTRODUCTION TO HER NEW BOSS. LOCATION: DEAN & DELUCA John and Katherine are food shopping and enjoying each other's company. Katherine asks about John's job - he says it has been tough (he's been incredibly busy (try to explain a bit of what he does) Melani & Nicole run into John & Katherine and say hello. Melani thanks Katherine for introducing her to Congressman she met at the welcome party, she got a job working in his office. Katherine is excited for Melani, and glad she could help. Katherine asks Melani & Nicole if they're going to the bachelor auction tonight. Nicole wants to go but has another commitment. Melani says she can't because she's got a research to do before she starts her job. Next time she promises. Nicole looks at John and says " Heard you are up for auction tonight" John smiles. John teases Katherine, "You're gonna bid on me, right?" Katherine is cool and smiles as says "We'll see how it goes." EPISODE 101. SCENE 7 - NEW SCENE SOPHIE GETS READY FOR WELCOME PARTY LOCATION: Sophie's Housel Hotel Helix Natalie and Sophie sip cocktails while getting ready to go to the Welcome Party. NATALIE: Can I get you a "Dresser"? SOPHIE: A what? NATALIE: A "Dresser" - a cocktail to drink while you get dressed. Duh. SOPHIE: Yea H- whatever, you're having. I so wish I could get out of this... NATALIE: Your dad will kill you if you don't go to this and schmooze with the new Congresspeople... SOPHIE: I know.
