Four in Five Marketers Promote Content via Social Media [STUDY]

80 percent of U.S. marketing professionals use social media to promote their content, reveals a new study.

June 2014 research by OneSpot and The 614 Group found that social sharing was the second most common content marketing strategy for marketers in the States, beaten only by promotion on their own website, which was used by 87 percent of respondents.

Organic search (72 percent), newsletters (59 percent) and press (59 percent) rounded out the top five.
