Congressional Reporters: Make Money!
From the National Press Foundation:
The National Press Foundation is calling for entries for the Everett McKinley Dirksen Awards for Distinguished Reporting of Congress, which carry prizes of $5,000 to the winning print and broadcast journalists. All entries must be received by 5 p.m. October 5, 2007. Entries will be judged on how well they covered the workings of the Congress as a whole, or helped illuminate the actions of elected officials or congressional staff, or describe the workings of congressional policies.
