Co-President of MySpace Steps Down After Four Months

The Co-President of Myspace, Jason Hirschhorn, is parting ways with the social networking company due to personal reasons involving departure back to new york. Replacing him will be Mike Jones, also Co-President of MySpace. Mr. Hirschhorn’s exit is amidst an uncertain outlook for MySpace, which was purchased for $580 million over five years ago. Although the company is revamping its strategy, its efforts may seem dismal in light of Facebook’s spiraling growth. The site had roughly 111 million visitors worldwide in April, while Facebook averaged 519 million, according to ComScore.

This isn’t the only recent news of departures from Myspace.
