CNN's S.E. Cupp Gets Choked Up Over Marriage Equality Ruling

CNN’s S.E. Cupp was visibly emotional this morning, as she fought back tears in reaction to the Supreme Court’s ruling on same-sex marriage.

“Sorry,” said the conservative political commentator, overwhelmed by the powerful scene on the steps of the court,.“It’s hard to watch that and, um, not get emotional.”

“The politics of this is one thing,” she told Wolf Blitzer. “But I would just challenge members of my party to look at the faces of on the right hand of the screen, and ask yourselves if they deserve the same kind of dignity that the rest of us get to enjoy.”

“This is America,” concluded Cupp, pointing to the crowd in front of the Supreme Court.
