CNN’s Jake Tapper and Don Lemon reported from Ferguson, Mo. Monday night, amid clashes between protesters and police. Earlier in the evening, Tapper questioned the level of police involvement given the number of protesters in the vicinity.
“Now I want you to look at what is going on in Ferguson, Missouri, in downtown America, okay? These are armed police, with — not machine guns — semi-automatic rifles, with batons, with shields, many of them dressed for combat.
