CNN: Terrorists Enjoy Nice Weather

It’s not the end of the year just yet, so bless CNN for squeezing in just one more moment of stupidity. While reporting on the missing AirAsia Flight 8501, CNN’s analyst and former Inspector General of the United States Department of Transportation Mary Schiavo said it was unlikely that the plane was the target of terrorism, because terrorists prefer nice weather.

“At this point, given it was extremely bad weather, the chances of this being some sort of a terrorist activity are very small, said Schiavo.
