CNN.com beat out NYTimes.com and BBC.com for “Best News Web site” in the 2009 EPpy Awards
Additionally, the CNN Political Ticker won an EPpy for “Best News/Politics Blog.” That award recognizes the cross-platform collaboration between CNN TV and CNN.com.
Yesterday’s 14th Annual EPpy Awards Luncheon was sponsored by Editor & Publisher and Mediaweek magazines. The EPys are one of the nation’s longest-running honors for online media.
