AOLTimeWarner.jpg“The Deal of the Century?” Hardly. CNBC will debut one-hour documentary Marriage from Hell: The Breakup of AOL Time Warner Wednesday, Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Correspondent David Faber will examine the transaction, which is now considered “The Deal of the Century” for all of the wrong reasons, and why the partnership between the online giant and the media giant didn’t manage to last one full decade.

Faber speaks with then-chairman and CEO Gerald Levin of Time Warner and former AOL CEO Steve Case, as well as Viacom CEO Sumner Redstone, News Corp. chairman and CEO Rupert Murdoch, former Disney chairman and CEO Michael Eisner, IAC chairman and CEO Barry Diller and Liberty Media Group founder and chairman John Malone.
