CNBC Digital Names Jeffrey McCracken Managing Editor

He takes over for Jeffrey Nash, who become managing editor, audience growth

CNBC Digital adds Jeffrey McCracken as managing editor for digital, announced senior vice president and executive editor Jay Yarow in a note to staff. McCracken joins from Bloomberg, where he has been executive editor and, per Yarow’s note, “spent almost seven years at Bloomberg building an impressive M&A team.” Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2010, McCracken had been a business reporter at the Wall Street Journal.

As managing editor, McCracken will be responsible for CNBC’s digital business newsroom and its efforts to expand coverage.
