Clear Channel Exec Cadillac Jack Remaining at Power 105
FishbowlNY reported on September 27 that Cadillac Jack was leaving his post as Power 105/WWPR program director to concentrate on his corporate duties in Boston and Providence.
Now comes word that Jack (whose real name is Jack McCartney) is staying put at the Hip Hop station. Along being the p.d., McCartney assumes the operations manager role for Clear Channel New York.
Clear Channel SVP/Programming Tom Poleman reportedly told staffers that “Cadillac Jack has decided that he has no patience for packing and will instead remain in New York, taking on both roles.”
