Before the election, Hotline’s Chuck Todd sat down with Roger Simon to discuss what exactly Hotline is, as well as to make some predictions. To his credit, Todd predicted that the Democrats would win 30 House seats and seven Sentate seats.
For 2008, Todd predicts that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama will split the Democrat vote, leaving little room for any other candidates. On the Republican side, he thinks that the vote could be split between John McCain and former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney.
