AFJ Awards Have Booze Columnist Seeing Double
The latest Association of Food Journalists (AFJ) award nominations include an especially tasty Best Newspaper Food Column category. That’s because two of the three finalists are the same person.
Alongside Jennifer Bain of the Toronto Star, freelance writer Jason Wilson is nominated for his work last year in the San Francisco Chronicle as well as for his contributions to the Washington Post. Can’t blame the guy for toasting himself on Twitter:
Wilson has been writing his Washington Post booze column “Spirits” for the Food section since March 2007.
