Facebook chief product officer Chris Cox presented a concept for future mobile ads on the social network at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity Tuesday.
Re/code reported that the mockup, using a Michael Kors watch as its subject, contained features including full-screen images and videos, as well as 360-degree-rotating product images.
CNBC added that the ads are fully interactive, meaning that Facebook users would be able to swipe their fingers across their screens to change their viewing angles or zoom in.
Cox did not offer a timetable as to when ads of this type might be ready for rollout, according to Re/code.
