When Portuguese brewing company Sagres launched a brand new chocolate flavored beer they decided that the best way to launch it would be, of course, with a website made entirely out of chocolate. And the best part? They let their fans eat it! Mmm…
According to a case study video, embedded below, each day during a specific hour users could ask for a bite of the website. If they were lucky they received a six-pack of Sagres Preta Chocolate beer with a piece of the actual website.
According to the video, Sagres wanted to find a way to promote their new product with no print campaign and very few print materials. They turned to Victor Nunes, Portugal’s best Maître Chocolatier, who sculpted all the different pages and elements of the website out of chocolate. The elements were then photographed and put together to create the website, which you can click here to see. Just click “Sim” to agree you are over 18. 🙂
