Chef José Andrés Offers GW Commencement Speech
At yesterday’s George Washington University commencement, chef José Andrés addressed 6,000 graduates and their 20,000 guests in a ceremony that took place on the National Mall, before the Capitol and with the Washington Monument as a backdrop.
Just before diving into his speech, Andrés directs attention to the jumbotrons for a star-studded video that explains how he was offered his invitation by GW President Steven Knapp.
Up pops Craig Ferguson. “Oh, President Knapp! Good to hear from you,” he says from the set of the “Late Late Show.”
