Drawing together two of the most intelligent brands in American media, The Atlantic and Charlie Rose are launching a new multi-platform editorial joint venture called “Think Ahead.”

Highlighting the ideas shaping the upcoming year in foreign affairs, politics, the economy, the arts and cultural trends, “Think Ahead” will be tied to a dedicated “Think Ahead” issue of The Atlantic in December 2008 as well as exclusive content at TheAtlantic.com and CharlieRose.com. To introduce the program to the new intelligentsia, Charlie Rose and editors from The Atlantic will host an invitation-only discussion on December 4 in New York City .
