Charles Townsend Extends Contract with Condé Nast

Charles Townsend, CEO of Condé Nast, has extended his contract with the company. The New York Post reports that the deal is for at least two more years.

Townsend has been with Condé since 1994, when he joined as publisher of Glamour. He was named executive VP of the company the next year, and COO in 1999. Townsend has served as Condé’s CEO since 2004.

Prior to his time with Condé, Townsend was with The New York Times Company.
