As if there’s not quite enough reasons to be paranoid about mobile security, research shows that even chargers are capable of serving serious hacks on your devices. The finding was from a team from Georgia Institute of Technology who discovered that even a simple charger can attack any Apple iPhone:
The results were alarming: despite the plethora of defense mechanisms in iOS, we successfully injected arbitrary software into current-generation Apple devices running the latest operating system (OS) software.
