Comedian Facebooks Celebs to Convince Them To Let Him Sleep Over… And Some Said Yes [Video]

Comedian Mark Malkoff reached out to celebrities via Facebook, email and snail mail to ask them if he could sleep over at their houses during a visit to LA. Much to his surprise, many celebrities including ‘Full House’ star David Coulier, Kate Walsh of ‘Private Practice’, iJustine, Lisa Loeb and more, said "yes!"

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sleep over at your favorite celebrity’s house?  NYC comedian Mark Malkoff decided to find out.  He reached out to celebrities via Facebook, email and snail mail to ask them if he could sleep over at their houses during a visit to LA.  Much to his surprise, many celebrities including ‘Full House’ star David Coulier, Kate Walsh of ‘Private Practice’, iJustine, Lisa Loeb and more, said “yes!”

Mark documented his sleepovers (and naps) at celebrity abodes and has turned the footage into a brand new web series on MyDamnChannel.com called “Celebrity Sleepovers.”  Today he has launched one big video documenting the experience and over the coming weeks he’ll be launching individual celebrity videos.  The first is Dave Coulier.  Check out the first two videos and then read on to find out more.

I think this is a pretty great example of how easy it is, in this day and age, to get in touch with anyone.  Sure, Mark is a pretty well known guy, thanks to the fact that he lived in IKEA for a week, lived on an Air Tran jet for 30 days and got 6-pack abs in 30 days, so this challenge may have been a little bit easier for him than it would be for you or me, but still!  How cool is it that he was able to actually get invited to sleep over at the homes of Uncle Joey, Addison Montgomery and more just based on reaching out via means like Facebook?

Mark says, “I was shocked celebrities said yes.  Many even cooked meals for me.  On the embarrassing side, I mistakenly saw one celebrity in their underwear.”

What’s your take on Mark Malkoff’s latest shenanigans?  We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
