Celeb Weekly Vet Named Editor of Ocean Drive
Jared Shapiro to edit Niche's Florida luxury mag
Jared Shapiro, the editorial director of news and entertainment at Bauer Publishing’s celebrity weeklies In Touch and Life & Style, is jumping from the world of teen moms and Hollywood gossip that of high-end glossies. Niche Media, the publisher of Gotham and Los Angeles Confidential, announced that Shapiro has been named the new editor in chief of its South Florida-centric luxury magazine, Ocean Drive.
Shapiro’s resume is heavy on celeb coverage. He began his career at Us Weekly, co-authored a book with reality star Kendra Wilkinson and is a regular TV commentator.
