CBS News Welcomes Baby Hendin

Congratulations to Lauren and Rob Hendin!  The “Face the Nation” producer and his wife welcomed to the world this afternoon Matthew Aaron Hendin.  With a full head of dark hair, the bouncing baby boy weighed in at 7 lbs. 3 oz. and measures 21 inches.   In a note to colleagues, Hendin joked that the family’s new addition “screamed as soon as he heard the Cardinals were swept by the Dodgers.”
