Big Brother Internet Feed Backs CBS Into Apologetic Corner

This may be some kind of network TV reality record: the 15th season of Big Brother debuted June 26 and on July 2, CBS started apologizing for it.

Or more accurately, apologizing for the 24/7 four-camera subscriber feed available at CBS.com. Per Kate Aurthur of BuzzFeed, Philiana Ng of The Hollywood Reporter and others, the Tiffany network is officially distancing itself from racist, sexist and homophobic statements made by several cast members through the Internet.

The CBS “we do not condone” statement also reminds of the power of reality TV bloggers.
