Catherine Gundersen Joins Marie Claire
Catherine Gundersen has been named the new managing editor of Marie Claire. Gunderson comes to the glossy from GQ, where she served as editorial business manager since last year.
Gunderson has previously served as interim managing editor at Self and Brides. Anne Fulenwider, who had worked with Gunderson at Brides, told WWD, “Catherine is fantastic… she has great energy and she’ll be a great fit.”
The move to bring Gunderson aboard is odd, considering that Nancy Gillen was just named managing editor of Marie Claire in August.
