Cartoon Network iPad Update Adds Video & Games
The Cartoon Network has upgraded its iPad app making users able to switch between playing games and watching videos. The app lets users stream live TV, as well as playback videos on demand.
Chris Waldron, Cartoon Network’s vice-president of digital, told USA Today: “Right now people are watching shows and playing games in the real world. That’s the reality…Interacting with our brand will only encourage them to watch the shows.”
This includes shows such as, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Ben 10, The Amazing World of Gumball, Ninjago, The Looney Tunes Show, and MAD among others.
In addition, the app includes the ability to play games starring characters from the network’s TV shows such as Finn, Jake, Mordecai, Rigby, Gumball, and Ben 10.
