Carney Shakes Things Up
White House press secretary Jay Carney earned brownie points from reporters today by straying from the norm. Today in the briefing room, some reporters raised their hands.
The tactic seemed to work in elevating mood levels. Scribes delighted in the new press secretary moving the love around the briefing room by starting in the first rows and then shaking up protocol. As one White House reporter put it, “To use Jay’s words, I think it’s “evolving.”
