Carly Fiorina Gets Corrected On-Air By MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell

Mitchell to Fiorina: “She actually was asked and did say last week in New Hampshire that it was a mistake...”

If Carly Fiorina is gonna continue to troll Hillary Clinton, it seems advisable to start pay attention to the things the Democratic candidate actually says.

In a sit down interview with MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO made the claim that the former Secretary of State had never addressed her affirmative vote on the Iraq war to the media — a claim that is categorically false.

“Every single Republican candidate has been asked about their vote for the war in Iraq,” Fiorina told Mitchell. “The one person who’s not been asked because, she won’t answer the question, is Hillary Clinton.”

“She actually was asked and did say last week in New Hampshire that it was a mistake,” responded Mitchell, citing Clinton’s press Q&A during a campaign stop.

“But she hasn’t said what happened from 2011 when both she and President Obama declared victory in Iraq,” Fiorina said, quickly throwing a smoke bomb. “They declared victory in Iraq in 2011. She was the Secretary of State. No one is declaring victory in Iraq now. What happened?”
