Capital Sunday Cancelled
FishbowlDC has learned that WJLA’s “Capital Sunday” program is no longer (you may have noticed its absence from WJLA’s 10 a.m. Sunday slot lately…).
The Sunday news program was once hosted by Leon Harris and Kathleen Matthews, but since Matthews’ departure in 2006, Harris has been handling it solo.
The move may very well make room for the slow-simmering plans for Politico TV (Robert Allbritton owns both WJLA and Politico), which is intentionally taking its time in determing whether (and how) to put together a compelling Sunday show.
