Capcom to Merge Mobile Operations

Capcom Interactive, the storied game developer famous for its Megaman series and now mobile gaming publisher, announced it will merge its European and North American mobile operations under a single management team, FierceMobileContent reports. Capcom’s mobile licenses to date include versions of Resident Evil and Street Fighter.

“Both the European and North American operations will immediately adopt the Capcom Mobile brand, which the company hopes will better communication its business to consumers.”

The report said that Capcom president Midori Yuasa will lead the new management team, with executive VP of publishing Matt Gillis heading commercial developments and studio head Manabu Seku taking charge of R&D.
