Buzzwire has launched a new mobile site, m.buzzwire.com, designed to make it easy for consumers to discover and share mobile Web content. The “editorially directed, community-driven” site lets users have a voice in determining what content is most interesting.
A number of publishers, including TV Guide, have agreed to put the Buzzwire “Buzzie” button on their mobile sites to make it even easier for consumers to post their favorite content from the site to Buzzwire. Users wanting to post content from sites without a Buzzie button can send an e-mail to email@example.com or send a text message to 28999 (BUZZ9).
For the launch of the beta site, Buzzwire forged a sponsorship agreement with Deutsch Inc, whose clients including DirecTV, Kodak, Under Armour and the Michael J. Fox Foundation will be the exclusive advertisers throughout the beta period.
