Among the outlets Christine Kenneally has written for: the New Yorker, the New York Times and Slate. She also authored the well-received 2008 book The First Word: The Search for the Origins of Language.
Now, per a report by Mumbrella, Kenneally has landed one of the more exciting opportunities in journalism today. From her base Down Under, she will be authoring Australia and U.S.-topic stories for BuzzFeed’s global investigative unit:
“Christine is a tenacious reporter and a mellifluous writer,” said BuzzFeed investigations and projects editor Mark Schoofs. “She has the intelligence, experience and dedication to produce rich, deeply reported narratives, as she has done throughout her brilliant career.”
On Twitter, Kenneally described the opportunity as “All my journalism dreams come true.” She brings to this hallowed opportunity another very impressive credential: a Ph.D. in linguistics from Cambridge.
