BusinessWeek.com Staff Experiences Layoffs
With the merger resulting in Bloomberg Businessweek still relatively recent (December 2009 — less than a year ago), Bloomberg remains in the midst of sorting out staff. Yesterday, the company laid off a yet-undisclosed number of BusinessWeek.com staffers.
The site’s news editor Phil Mintz and Will Andrews, the managing editor of its investing channel were among those laid off.
Yesterday, a spokesperson for the company told Talking Biz News that “The process of integrating the two organizations is an on-going one.
