Buffer has long been known as a powerful Twitter scheduling tool that combines an easy-to-use interface and powerful analytics. Now it’s taking it up a notch by introducing Buffer for Business – a tool that might just have rivals like HootSuite and TweetDeck shaking in their boots.
Buffer for Business takes the best of Buffer, and adds an additional layer that makes it more useful for businesses.
All of the regular Buffer features are still here: the ability to schedule tweets to go live at optimized times throughout the day; powerful apps and plugins that enable users to Buffer practically any piece of content from anywhere on the web with a single click; powerful analytics; and the ability to connect multiple accounts.
But there are plenty of upgrades to the service that make it a prime candidate for businesses looking for an alternative to current social scheduling heavyweights like HootSuite and TweetDeck.
For instance, Buffer for Business is more focused on collaboration than regular Buffer, allowing for teams of any size to manage shared accounts.
And the analytics present in Buffer get an upgrade in the business version, with retweets, favorites, clicks and more being tracked right within the dashboard. Businesses can also export all of their data any time and add them to their reports.
Buffer for Business is available at three plan levels, ranging from $50 to $250 per month. Using the Small plan, a business can connect up to 25 different social accounts into their Buffer for Business platform and invite up to five team members to co-manage and perform data analysis, with the number of accounts and team members increasing with each higher plan.
All plans offer robust analytics, admin features that provide for tightly controlled collaboration, high security as well as access to all of the standard Buffer features (like custom scheduling, social analytics, over 50 apps and more).
