After 11 years, Brooke Brower has left MSNBC. Brower has moved from segment producer for Hardball with Chris Matthews, to executive producer of The Daily Rundown with Chuck Todd and Savannah Guthrie. Most recently he launched Meet the Press Daily.
“Brooke has been more than a great producer for me, he’s been a partner, a confidante and most importantly a good friend,” Todd wrote in an email to colleagues obtained by FishbowlDC. “After a decade+ of covering every second of every major political story, Brooke’s going to take a well-deserved break from daily and hourly grind that is TV news production in the 21st century,” Todd wrote.
“His eleven years here include three presidential campaign cycles, six national conventions, three midterm elections, and countless debates, town halls, and Congressional battles – and he has been a trusted editorial leader through it all,” added MSNBC president Phil Griffin.
Meet the Press ep John Reiss will also now oversee MTP Daily.
Brower also teaches journalism at Georgetown.
