Will Schieffer and Axelrod Kiss and Make Up?
Occidental Grill & Seafood is trying really hard to get CBS “Face the Nation” Host Bob Schieffer and former Obama aide David Axelrod to bury the hatchet. To that end, they’ve invited Axelrod to the restaurant’s BBQ, Bourbon, Beer and Bob (Schieffer) non-profit event.
This may not be an easy relationship to patch up. Schieffer recently complained about his problems with White House access and landing guests for his show. But on Tuesday Axelrod shoved the knife it by arguing that Schieffer’s case was rather flimsy.
