Bloomberg Politics today announced a new polling, reporting, and events partnership with the Des Moines Register for coverage of the midterm and 2016 Presidential elections.
Via a joint release:
“The two outlets will jointly produce the Iowa Poll, which the Register has established since 1943 as the most reliable and revealing analysis of Hawkeye State voters. The partnership also will involve joint journalism projects and political events, which will be announced in the coming months.”
“The Des Moines Register has a longstanding record of providing the definitive coverage in a state with a special franchise in the American democratic process,” said Bloomberg Politics managing editor Mark Halperin in the release. “The Register serves their readers at a level of excellence very few papers are able to still achieve. They are in touch with Iowa voters and Iowa voters play a huge role in selecting the President.”
