That there are layoffs going on at Bloomberg Government. We wouldn’t print this unless our sources were solid and coming from the inside. We’re told other changes could be coming to Bloomberg BNA and BGov, including a possible combined venture.
Bloomberg PR would neither confirm or deny the layoffs.
“On your item below, we decline to comment,” said Spokeswoman Meridith Webster. “We do not comment on rumors in the marketplace.” When we followed up by asking if she is denying the layoffs, she replied, “I’m saying we don’t comment on rumors in the workplace.”
