Now Jasmin Alvarez, a blind girl with an amazing singing voice, is turning to YouTube to help make her biggest dream a reality—to meet Justin Bieber. Jasmin wrote and recorded a song for Justin as a last resort in her attempt to reach her goal of meeting him. In the video on YouTube, Jasmin says, "I would like to share with you all a very special song that I have written called ‘If You Only Knew.’ I wrote this song because for the past year now I have been pursuing a dream, which is to meet Justin Bieber. I’ve tried so many things, but so far have not gotten anywhere. I am trying this song now as my last hope. So Justin, this song is for you. If by any chance you hear this song, I hope that you enjoy listening it and I hope that you can help me make this dream of mine come true. It would really mean the world to me if you could." After her introduction, Jasmin begins to sing and her voice is truly amazing. You can listen to her singing more songs on her YouTube channel. According to Twitter user @BiebsMeetJasmin, an account set up to help Jasmin achieve her goal of meeting Justin Bieber, Jasmin recently turned 15 and his blind for her entire life. @BiebsMeetJasmin posted on TwitLonger, "She was previously a little lonely and sometimes negative but then when she heard Justin’s music, it gave her a lot of hope." Will Jasmin’s campaign result in her meeting Justin? I can’t say for sure and, to be honest, I’m a bit torn on this front. After all, Jasmin is far from the only girl who dreams of meeting Justin Bieber, and if he had to meet every girl that put herself out there for him on YouTube he would probably die of exhaustion. But on the other hand, Jasmin has got real talent. She has taken the time to write and sing a song for Justin and I think it would be amazing if she could meet him and they could sing a duet together, like Lady Gaga and Maria, the little girl who has garnered over 28 million views for her cover of ‘Born This Way’. But even if Jasmin doesn’t get to meet Justin Bieber, this video is sure to put her in the spotlight and earn her some fans, which she I think she deserves.
