bit.ly will feature the most popular videos shared via its URL-shortening service on bitly.TV, with most of the links coming via Twitter, TechCrunch reported.
General manager Andrew Cohen told TechCrunch:
The algorithm looks at velocity, popularity and persistence. We’re examining the social distribution history of each video to determine what is trending and to predict what will go viral.
