There was a mixed bag of applications this week on our list of titles with the most new daily active users in the past week. Friend quiz apps were on the list, as well as Page tab apps, there were some horoscope and tech company integrations, like Bing for example. Then, as we reported earlier this week, Spotify continued to grow. The titles on our list below grew from between 198,900 and 3.2 million DAU, based on AppData, our data tracking service covering traffic growth for apps on Facebook.

Birthday Calendar topped out list with 3.2 million DAU; the app creates an interface with a user’s photos and birthdays in calendar form, allowing them to add events to it. The friend quiz apps, which mostly ask you questions about your Facebook friends, then publish the answers to the feed, included: 21 questions with 726,200 DAU, Between You and Me with 275,400 DAU, Truth Game with 271,200 DAU and Truths About You with 199,000 DAU.
There were a pair of horoscope apps. They work similarly, by posting to your Wall regularly, as well as asking users to invite their friends. Daily Horoscope grew by 427,700 DAU and Astrology by 206,100 DAU. And a pair of Page tab apps. Static HTML Iframe Tab : Custom Icons grew by 258,200 DAU and Static HTML: iframe tabs by 257,800 DAU. Then the MyPad for iPad Facebook and Twitter iPad app grew by 237,400 DAU.
Finally, Facebook’s new emphasis on larger photos seems to have given 60photos a bump on our list with 290,200 DAU. The app asks users to rate photos, then publishes stories to the stream with each favorable rating.
