Bill Simmons Apologizes to Stephen A. Smith (Kind Of)
ESPN blogger Bill Simmons was good to his word last Friday, penning his most recent column under the byline William J. Simmons, as an apologia of sorts to sportswriter Stephen A. Smith.
Simmons had been ridiculing Smith for the better part of two weeks for his seemingly premature pronouncement that LeBron James’ departure to the Miami Heat was a “done deal.” It turned out, of course, to be a done deal after all.
Despite his apology, Simmons apparently doesn’t feel too bad for ripping on Smith.
