New York Magazine Sparks Post-News-Mayor Ruckus
Here’s how it all went down.
On Sunday, New York magazine posted “Chirlane McCray’s City,” the Web version of contributing editor Lisa Miller’s profile of Mayor de Blasio’s wife.
On Monday, the Post and Daily News front-page framed the interview revelations as being of the “bad mom” variety. And today, in the pages of the New York Times, there is coverage of a quickly convened Monday de Blasio presser:
The mayor decided midday on Monday that he wanted to address the headlines, and ordered his aides to organize a question-and-answer session with reporters.
