Big City Burrito Sees Big Results from Mobile Campaign

Big City Burrito, a small Mexican fast-food chain out of Colorado, learned the value of mobile marketing with a single campaign. The restaurant chain is just over a year old and still needs to get the word out about its existence.

It started out using traditional direct mail. In its mailer in January, however, Big City Burrito included an offer for a free burrito. Folks who sent a text to the specified short code received a mobile coupon that could be redeemed for the free food.
