BGov Poaches CQ's Friel
After only a year at CQ, Brian Friel is moving on. Friel, who covered Senate leadership on the Inside Congress team since June of 2010, has accepted a position at Bloomberg’s BGov, FishbowlDC has confirmed.
Brian joined CQ after spending seven years with National Journal where he covered topics ranging from budget and transportation to education, immigration and justice. Prior to NJ, he worked his way from college intern to staff correspondent at Government Executive magazine.
