Betty White Appears On SNL Thanks To Facebook

Last night Betty White appeared on Saturday Night Live following an organized movement to get the 88-year-old celebrity on the show, starting back in February. The program started off with White’s opening monologue which poked fun at Facebook users, followed by her heartfelt thanks for voicing their support her.

Betty White told the audience that she “really has to thank Facebook”. She also admitted humorously that “When I first her about the campaign to get me to host Saturday Night Live, I didn’t know what Facebook was.”
