Benoit Denizet-Lewis, a contributing writer to the New York Times Magazine who already has a book about addiction in the works, is getting his magazine writing published in book form, too.
And, apparently, he likes to promote such news on his Web site in the third-person:
Benoit has signed a second book deal with Simon & Schuster. In addition to Benoit’s book about addiction (America Anonymous, to be published in late 2007 or early 2008), Simon & Schuster will publish a collection of Benoit’s journalism and magazine writing. Tentatively titled American Voyeur: Dispatches from the Far Corners, Back Alleys, and Locked Bedrooms of Modern Life, the book will be released at about the same time as America Anonymous.
