Facebook’s shuttle-bus drivers aren’t the only employees of contractors and vendors of the social network who will receive better compensation, as chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg outlined a new initiative by the company in a Newsroom post.
New benefits for employees of contractors and vendors for Facebook in the U.S. include:
- A minimum wage of $15 per hour.
- A minimum of 15 paid days off for holidays, sick time and vacation.
- A $4,000 new child benefit for employees who don’t already receive paid parental leave.
