Cross-Country Oscar Road Trip Gets Rolling in NYC
The Academy keeps a bunch of unmarked Oscars on hand for various promotional purposes. One of those is officially on its way from New York to LA today as part of a three-week cross-country promotional “Oscar Road Trip.”
The statuette’s traveling companions are comedians Ben Gleib and Angie Greenup, who are both tweeting about their progress (alongside official account @OscarRoadTrip) as they also give away red carpet bleacher tickets for the big night February 24 in Hollywood.
